Dr Shahzad Ali Khan is medical graduate of King Edward Medical College, Lahore of 1991. After MBBS he did MBA with Majors in Finance and MSc in Public Health from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. He is one of the few medical doctors with a PhD in Management Sciences in Pakistan.
• He holds Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, London, UK and also holds Fellowship of Royal Society for Public Health, UK.
• He has 28 years of work experience ranging from peripheral level administration to management of tertiary care health facilities. He worked for several international organizations, and secured grants from World Bank, ADB, WHO, USAID, UNICEF, UNFPA, GiZ, UNAIDS, IOM, RAF, TRF, ICRC & IFRC, IRC, PHE, GFATM.
• His research is extensively disseminated through more than 192 peer reviewed publications in national and international journals.
• He has over 23,000 citations to his credit; has an h-Index of 62 and i-10 Index of 472, which is phenomenally good.
He is currently Professor and Dean of Public Health and also the Vice Chancellor of Health Services Academy, Islamabad, Pakistan
