Badar Uzaman
Badar Uzaman is a nutrition/public health professional who completed his Masters in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Gent, Belgium and M.Phil in Human Nutrition for the University of Agriculture Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Badar worked for different national and international NGOs and UN agencies in Nepal, Tanzania, and Pakistan on policy planning, programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation around multi-sectoral nutrition. Currently, he is serving as Programme Policy Officer, at the National SUN Secretariat, Ministry of Planning Development, and Special Initiatives/Planning Commission. He is responsible for multi-sector coordination and management, development of strategies/policy frameworks and operational guidelines for different programme and development of public-private partnerships.
Early Childhood Development (ECD) is the foundation to transform societies and generations. A good foundation starts right from conception, and makes a difference throughout a person’s life, and gives the next generation a better start.
